We work our hardest for a great result on every project

Maya Sydney

Since the early 2000’s, Geo9 has pioneered affordable groundwater exploration with teams of innovative geoscientists that include exploration geologists, hydrogeologists, GIS, remote-sensing and geophysical experts.

We work in aquifer mapping, groundwater and minerals exploration, dam seepage, contamination mapping, geotechnical surveys and multi-temporal remote-sensing. We are also proud to be commercialization agents for the Water Monitoring from Space (WAMOS)  and raddata hyperspectral initiatives of the German Research Centre for Geosciences.

In 2021, we are launching BlueSpot Technology globally for humanity with new technologies to improve the way we interact with water and resources anywhere on our beautiful planet.

‘Geo-referenced for your convenience’, Maya co-founded Geo9 in 2009 after initially working in groundwater in 2002.

With her founding team of geologists, Maya accomplished a formidable track record over almost two decades of finding groundwater, conducting world-first R&D projects in aquifer characterisation and contamination mapping. Geo9 has helped hundreds of farmers and groundwater users throughout Australia, and conducted projects in Papua New Guinea, China and Germany. The company has found groundwater for rural towns in emergency drought situations, mapped hydrocarbon contamination plumes in China and conducted many novel exploration, groundwater mapping, geotechnical and other R&D projects.

Since 2015, Maya has also represented gasfields and agricultural innovator Future Energy Innovations, been appointed as in an honorary role at the Delta Water Institute in China and also represented German Government commercialisation efforts for hyperspectral mineral analysis and large-scale satellite gravity water monitoring.

Since 2019, Maya has been working with Jim Fluri on the launch of highly innovative BlueSpot Technology.

FOUNDER, BlueSpot Technology

Jim Fluri

Jim has worked internationally for over 30 years developing unique and proprietary systems, methods and devices delivering advanced energy, water, waste and other industrial solutions that will be launching in late 2021.

He previously creating therapeutic water that was tested in scientific studies for over 10 years in European oncology institutes. Jim has worked on four continents in the fields of minerals processing, commercial aviation and as independent alternative energy developer.

Jim started working with Maya in 2019 to launch his unique solutions for water and materials treatment. Read more about the technology and register for updates as we launch at BlueSpot Technology.
